I've always had an interest in architecture. Inspired by George Clarke's "Amazing Spaces", I single-handedly designed and built The Imaginapod to a brief set by my two sons. They wanted a "Treehouse/Pirate Ship/Space Ship/Castle/Submarine" structure in the garden. The Imaginapod has electricity, lighting and sleeps four people comfortably. Improvisation and recycling kept the costs down. I have continued to evolve and improve the Imaginapod adding gas strut powered windows in 2016 and a winch powered drawbridge ramp in 2017/2018.
